Dr. Irina Voro is Professor of Music and Creativity at the University of Kentucky, a former faculty-elected trustee of the same university, and co-founder of two startups. Dr. Voro is the recipient of seventeen student-nominated teaching awards, including a USA “Distinguished Teacher” honor from the Obama Administration. She has held visiting professorships in the United States, Brazil, China, and Italy, and has served as a judge for the QS/Wharton Re-Imagine Education global awards since 2016. She has performed as a soloist with symphony orchestras on three continents, and presented concerts and masterclasses in a dozen countries and at more than fifty American universities.
