Isaac Lemus Aguilar is a Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, ranked first in Latin America and 21st globally by QS. He holds a double PhD from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Politecnico di Milano, awarded cum laude, and is a member of Mexico's National System of Researchers (SNI Level I).

His academic work sits at the intersection of innovation management, business model transformation, and entrepreneurship education. He has published in international peer-reviewed journals and presented at leading conferences in innovation and management research. Before returning to academia full-time, Isaac held senior roles in public policy at Mexico's Tax Administration Service, and earlier in his career worked with the European Commission, KPMG, and DMR/NTT. He also directed a master's programme at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid before relocating to Mexico.

At EGADE, Isaac leads experiential and research-based initiatives connecting business education with real-world innovation challenges. He works with executives, entrepreneurs, and graduate students across multiple campuses, and operates an international consulting practice through Quantum Innovation Strategy Ltd, based in the United Kingdom.

As a judge for the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026, Isaac brings a practitioner-researcher perspective to the evaluation of educational innovation. His assessment priorities include evidence of real implementation, measurable impact on learners, and the rigour of the theoretical frameworks underlying each project.
