Nurul Izwazi Binti Mohd Nor works as Assistant Manager at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia, in the Vice President's Office for Student Development and Alumni Relations. She focuses on student development, employability, sustainability, institutional reporting, personality-based training, and human-centred education.
Izwazi graduated in Biomedical Engineering and is a certified Leonard Personality Inventory trainer. She brings both analytical skills and a people-focused approach to education. Her work includes student development, preparing graduates for the workforce, engaging with alums and industry, running mobility programmes, and coordinating across campuses. Since 2022, she has helped write UTAR's annual Sustainability Reports, showing how the university's work supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Izwazi was a judge for the 2025 QS Reimagine Education Awards and will continue in this role for the 2026 edition. She values transformative education models and brings experience and thoughtful evaluation to the judging process. Right now, she is focused on helping students become future-ready, promoting sustainability literacy, improving how institutions share their stories, and making educational impact easier to understand and measure.
As an award-winning novelist and creative communicator, she believes in using stories to inspire purpose, empathy, ethical leadership, and lifelong learning. As a judge for the QS Reimagine Education Awards, Izwazi looks for innovations that are inclusive, scalable, value-driven, and have real impact. She judges education by both what it teaches and how it transforms learners, institutions, and society.
Outside her main role, Izwazi is also Chairlady of the UTAR Staff Sports and Recreation Club at the Sungai Long Campus. These experiences strengthen her belief that education should support learning, belonging, resilience, and meaningful human development.
