I am a lecturer in Communication Design at Victoria University of Wellington's School of Design Innovation, where I teach in visual communication and design thinking. I’m curious about creative approaches to teaching and learning. I am also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), recognised for my commitment to student-centred teaching and learning in higher education. I’m on Teaching Pathways at my university, which supports my ongoing development as an educator and academic practitioner.
Alongside my teaching, I contribute to different international conversations on pedagogy and innovation in education. As a second-time judge for QS Reimagine Education Awards, I am continuing this journey. Through both teaching and reflective writing, I explore how design education can foster critical, inclusive, and transformative learning experiences. My reflections on teaching and learning can also be found through my BLOG.
