Dr. Jordan Llego serves as the Assistant Vice President for Research, Quality Assurance, Accreditation, and Curriculum Development at HCT Academy. In this capacity, he offers strategic leadership in research development, academic quality assurance, accreditation preparedness, curriculum innovation, and the ongoing enhancement of education and training programs.

As a nurse educator, researcher, academic leader, and scholar, Dr. Llego possesses extensive experience in nursing education, curriculum development, research management, academic administration, and quality enhancement. Before his current role, he was Dean of the College of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Luzon, where he led initiatives in nursing education, faculty development, research productivity, curriculum enhancement, and institutional quality improvement.

Dr. Llego’s scholarly interests include nursing education, healthcare simulation, artificial intelligence in education and nursing, academic resilience, planetary health, climate-responsive nursing education, student learning, and healthcare quality. His research utilizes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, systematic review, and emerging technology-based approaches, demonstrating a commitment to generating evidence that informs educational practice and healthcare workforce development.

Dr. Llego has contributed to research published in international scholarly outlets and has participated extensively in peer review and editorial processes for academic journals. He collaborates with researchers, educators, students, and healthcare professionals to develop studies addressing contemporary challenges in nursing education, clinical training, simulation, technology-enhanced learning, and population and planetary health.

In his current leadership role, Dr. Llego operates at the intersection of research, accreditation, quality assurance, and curriculum development. He helps establish systems that promote evidence-informed education, measurable learning outcomes, regulatory and accreditation compliance, and innovative approaches to healthcare training. His interests include advancing simulation-based education, virtual reality and educational technologies, interdisciplinary research, and academic-healthcare partnerships.
