Joshua Malunga is a dedicated community development practitioner and youth leader from Malawi, serving as a representative of Community Focus (COFO), a youth-led non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable communities through integrated development programmes. He has experience coordinating and supporting projects in education, health, gender equality, mental wellbeing, climate resilience, livelihoods, and youth empowerment, particularly in rural and disaster-affected communities in Chikwawa District.

Joshua has worked closely with local communities, government structures, schools, civil society organizations, and international partners to promote sustainable development and community participation. He has contributed to the implementation of projects focusing on ecosystem restoration, sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), psychosocial support, disaster response, education access, and gender-based violence prevention through sports and community engagement approaches.

Through his leadership and commitment to community transformation, Joshua continues to advocate for inclusive development, youth participation, environmental sustainability, and improved opportunities for children and young people in Malawi.
