Joshua Simuka is a Research Fellow at the Harare Institute of Technology in Zimbabwe and a seasoned researcher with extensive interests in innovation, commercialisation, business model innovation, and higher education transformation. He holds a Master of Technology Degree in Strategy and Innovation and has actively contributed to research and institutional initiatives that promote innovation-led development and impactful knowledge creation.

His work focuses on bridging the gap between academia, industry, and society through research that supports entrepreneurship, technology transfer, sustainable industrialisation, and innovation ecosystems. Joshua is particularly passionate about advancing research commercialisation within universities and exploring how higher education institutions can become catalysts for sustainable socio-economic transformation.
