
José Carlos Vázquez Parra holds a PhD in Humanistic Studies with a concentration in Ethics. He is also a doctoral candidate in Psychology, and holds a Master’s degree in Education, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Psychology. He has participated in numerous conferences and colloquia and has been invited to deliver lectures and workshops at various universities in Mexico, as well as in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
In general, his main lines of research are educational innovation, entrepreneurship, and social innovation. He has published more than 250 academic and outreach articles in more than twenty countries. He is also the author of 23 original and edited books, as well as several research reports. He holds five copyright registrations for educational innovation methodologies. He is a Level 2 member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers.
He has received multiple national and international awards for his contributions to Latin American education. He currently serves as a professor at the School of Humanities and Education and as a researcher at the Institute for the Future of Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Guadalajara Campus.
