Júlio Francisco Blumetti Facó is a Full Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Brazil, working at the intersection of innovation, education, accessibility and human potential. He helped build UFABC from its earliest days and later served in senior university leadership.

His educational initiatives CLIPS and CLIPS++ earned a Reimagine Education Gold Award for Latin America and a Global Bronze Award for Nurturing Wellbeing & Purpose, alongside earlier Reimagine recognition and a GESS Education Awards Top-10 finish.

After becoming blind at 44, he redesigned much of his teaching practice around assistive technology, accessibility and inclusive learning. Beyond academia, he is also a storyteller and writer who experiments with literary collectives, heteronyms and authorial personas.

His favorite territory is the space between curiosity and possibility.
