Ts. Dr. Kamarudin Ambak served as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). He has spent more than 20 years in Teaching and Research activities. Graduated with BSc. Civil Engineering (ITTHO/UTM), MSc. Highway and Transport (UPM) and Ph.D. Traffic Safety (UKM). Been appointed as Head of Smart Driving Research Center (SDRC), UTHM from 2013 to 2016 and present as Principal Researcher at SDRC. Also, he conducted many research grants in the fields of traffic safety, transportation, and highway engineering. Member of professional bodies, namely the Malaysia Board of Technology (MBOT), Road Engineering Association of Malaysia (REAM), Road Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia (REAAA), and Concrete Society of Malaysia (CSM).
