With over two decades of experience in academia, I currently serve as Dean of Research &

Outreach and Professor of Marketing at the Fortune Institute of International Business

(FIIB), New Delhi. Over the course of my career, I have worked with some of India's leading

academic institutions, contributing meaningfully to teaching, research, and strategic

institutional leadership.

At FIIB, I spearhead the school's Thought Leadership and Impact agenda, strengthening

the research and teaching ecosystem, driving national and international accreditations

including AACSB, building global academic partnerships, enhancing institutional rankings,

and advancing doctoral education. I have played a central role in fostering a culture of

academic rigor, interdisciplinary thinking, and impactful scholarship by aligning faculty

research with institutional priorities, strengthening research governance, and championing

innovations in pedagogy and curriculum design, including the integration of AI and

emerging technologies, that enhance teaching quality and lead to measurable learning

outcomes. This includes driving faculty development initiatives focused on pedagogical

excellence and embedding practices that connect classroom learning with industry

relevance and societal impact. I have also been instrumental in expanding our doctoral

programs, mentoring emerging scholars, and creating structured pathways for them to

contribute to responsible, high-quality research.

My research focuses on Consumer Psychology, Consumer–Brand Relationships, Service

Transgressions, and Inclusive Marketing. My work has been published in several top-tier

international journals ranked A* and A, including Industrial Marketing Management,

Journal of Business Research, Internet Research, and Technology Forecasting & Social

Change, among others. I have served as Guest Editor for special issues of the Journal of

Business Research, International Journal of Information Management, Technology

Forecasting & Social Change, Journal of Global Marketing, and Journal of Promotion

Management. I also serve as Senior Associate Editor (Marketing) for FIIB BusinessReview and Advisory Board Editor (Southeast Asia) for the Journal of Global

Marketing.

In 2020, I was awarded the AIM–Sheth Foundation Research Grant in the area of

marketing research.

I believe in building resilient yet humane academic systems, mentoring with purpose, and

enabling research that bridges scholarly insight with real-world impact. I welcome

meaningful conversations and collaborations in the areas of marketing, consumer

psychology, research impact, and responsible management education.
