Professor Samuel Adeyemo is a South African National Research Foundation (NRF)-rated researcher and Associate Professor at the University of Pretoria, where he also serves as director of the Centre for the Advancement of Sustainable Higher Education Futures (CASHEF). His research examines international student mobility, emerging higher education destinations, and policy challenges shaping universities in the Global South. He has held visiting academic appointments at Indiana University Bloomington, Aarhus University in Denmark, and the University of Victoria in Canada. He has also served on an NRF rating committee and as a judge at the QS Reimagine Education Awards between 2017 and 2026.
