As a Pro Vice Chancellor (Quality Assurance) at Chitkara University, I see my role as an ongoing journey of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Over the past two decades in higher education, I have had the privilege of working as a teacher, researcher, and administrator—experiences that continue to shape my understanding of quality, innovation, and academic leadership. With a Ph.D. in Solid State Electronics, a Master’s in Physics, and membership as an IEEE Senior Member, I remain committed to growing as a scholar and contributing meaningfully to the academic community.

My research in solar cell technologies and perovskite materials, particularly A₃BX₃ halide perovskites, reflects my curiosity for emerging clean-energy solutions. With 50+ publications, I continue to explore how advanced materials can support a more sustainable future. Every project, collaboration, and study has reinforced my belief that research is a continuous learning process.

In quality assurance and institutional development, I work across accreditation systems (NAAC, NBA, ABET, AACSB) and global ranking frameworks (QS, THE, ARWU, WURI, UI GreenMetric, NIRF India). My focus is on building transparent, data-informed processes that help the university grow stronger year by year. I consider these accomplishments not as personal milestones but as collective achievements made possible through teamwork and shared commitment.

I am a firm believer in the power of technology, data, and stakeholder engagement to improve teaching, research, and governance. Each day brings new lessons—from faculty, students, colleagues, and the broader higher education ecosystem—and these insights guide my work toward creating more meaningful, inclusive, and future-ready academic environments.

My purpose remains simple: to keep learning, keep improving, and contribute in whatever way I can to the evolving journey of Chitkara University. I aspire to help build an institution that remains grounded in values, driven by curiosity, and committed to excellence for the benefit of all.
