Engr. Kristiane B. Pagurayan is a dedicated Electronics Engineer, Biomedical Engineer

and Professional Teacher, Engr. Pagurayan possesses a strong academic and professional

background. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor II and the Chairman of the

Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Science and Technology of

Southern Philippines (USTP), she is committed to enhancing student learning through the

development of comprehensive engineering syllabi and engaging course materials. Her

teaching philosophy emphasizes creating an interactive learning environment that

fosters student involvement and participation.

Holding a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering majoring in Biomedical Engineering

from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in

Electronics Engineering from Mindanao University of Science and Technology, she has

also completed a Certificate of Teaching, further solidifying her expertise in education.

Her industry experience as a former Production Supervisor at Indorama Ventures

Philippine Packaging Incorporated has equipped her with valuable insights into

engineering practices and management. In this role, she focused on employee coaching,

performance management, and ensuring effective operations within the engineering

department.

With a passion for engineering and a commitment to education, Kristiane B. Pagurayan
