Dr. Lial Raja Alzabin is an Assistant Professor at Amman Arab University, Jordan, with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Dr. Alzabin’s academic and research interests span Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks, Computer Networking, Network Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Software Engineering. Her research focuses on developing intelligent and efficient solutions for emerging computing and networking challenges, with particular interest in wireless sensor network applications, AI-driven systems, cybersecurity, and data-driven technologies.

She has authored and co-authored research articles, conference papers, and book chapters covering areas including wireless sensor networks, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, machine learning, software engineering, and decision-support systems. Her recent research includes work on AI and machine learning for cybersecurity, federated learning, cloud computing, sentiment analysis, healthcare applications, optimization algorithms, and software engineering.

In addition to her academic and research activities, Dr. Alzabin is actively involved in professional and student-oriented initiatives, particularly through IEEE, where she contributes to technology, innovation, research, and professional development activities. She is also engaged in organizing and supporting conferences, competitions, hackathons, and innovation programs that connect students and researchers with emerging technologies and industry.

Dr. Alzabin is committed to advancing research, innovation, technology education, and student development, while fostering collaboration between academia, professional organizations, and the wider technology community.
