Dr. Mahinour Ezzat is a higher education transformation leader with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, academic strategy, and organisational change in the UAE. She is currently Director of the Teaching and Learning Center and Assistant Professor of Education at Ajman University, where her work spans institutional transformation, AI adoption, digital learning, faculty capability, future-ready education, and strategic partnerships. With a Doctorate in Higher Education from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Information Technology, Mahinour brings a distinctive combination of academic, technological, and organisational expertise. Her career has included leading and supporting large-scale digital and academic transformation across complex higher education environments, from enterprise technology adoption and process redesign to professional capability-building and institutional change. Her current interests focus on how universities can move beyond isolated AI and digital initiatives to build the governance, capabilities, culture, and operating models required for sustainable transformation. She is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and founder of the Advance HE Gulf Fellowship Network, and regularly contributes to regional and international conversations on AI in higher education, digital transformation, future skills, and educational leadership.
