Dr. Maria Fema S. Aquino, RND, PhD, is a Licensed Nutritionist-Dietitian and Home Economics educator whose work focuses on nutrition, innovation, community development, and social impact. She earned her PhD in Home Economics from the University of the Philippines Diliman and has received recognition for her research contributions, including the UP Diliman International Publication Award and the International Home Economics Services (IHES) Scholarship Grant. As a researcher, mentor, and advocate, she has presented her work internationally, served as a research ethics and journal reviewer, and guided award-winning student research, demonstrating her commitment to evaluating and promoting innovative initiatives that create meaningful and sustainable impact in communities.
