Marlene Amorim is an Associate Professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, and a researcher at GOVCOPP. She holds a PhD in Management from IESE Business School. Her research focuses on service and operations management, quality management, service innovation and process design, with particular interest in digital transformation and the evolving role of technology in organizations and society. She has extensive experience in international research and education, having participated in and coordinated numerous European and international projects. She is also actively involved in executive education and in initiatives connecting academia, industry, and society.
