Dr. Mary Ann P. Carranza is a distinguished educator, administrator, and researcher based in Bulacan, Philippines. As the former Executive Director for External Relations and Internationalization at Bulacan State University and the current Research Coordinator of the College of Business Education and Accountancy, she brings a strong vision to academic leadership. Since 2017, Dr. Carranza has excelled as a faculty instructor at Bulacan State University, delivering courses in management and marketing and effectively supervising theses and feasibility studies.

Before entering the academe, Dr. Carranza built a strong record of industry leadership. She served as Membership Supervisor at S&R Membership Shopping from 2001 to 2009 and later worked as Front End Manager at SM Hypermarket, Mall of Asia, where she managed more than 100 cashiers, baggers, and customer service staff. These roles sharpened her operational management, large-team leadership, and customer-experience skills.

Her academic credentials include a Doctor in Business Administration from La Consolacion University and an MBA from Bulacan State University. Within the university, she has held institutional leadership roles, including Campus Director for Extension Services and Extension Coordinator for the College of Business Administration, as well as a technical working group member for DOST‑BulSU BARAS TBI. Dr. Carranza is an active member of multiple professional organizations, a published conference presenter on topics such as environmental education and managerial competencies for retail entrepreneurs, and a recognized student‑organization adviser.
