Matt Wood is an academic developer specialising in educator development and professional recognition at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). He has over 25 years’ international experience in education, including more than 16 years in higher education across Australia and Japan. He has extensive experience designing and delivering engaging and inclusive curricula, developing academic programs, and supporting staff to enhance evidence-informed teaching practice and student engagement. Matt’s research spans science communication, visual communication, and interdisciplinary education. He brings a broad range of experience and insight to the evaluation of innovative practices in teaching and learning in higher education.
