Dr. May Marie P. Talandron-Felipe is a Professor of Computer Science and Head of Research, Innovation, and Extension (RIE) at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Main Campus – Alubijid. Her expertise spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, responsible computing, and technology-enhanced education, with a strong focus on developing innovative digital solutions that address real-world challenges in education, public service, and community development.

She has led and collaborated on numerous research and extension initiatives involving government agencies, educational institutions, and local communities, particularly in the areas of analytics, digital transformation, cybersecurity awareness, and evidence-based decision-making. Her work has contributed to externally funded projects, international conference publications, and community-based technology programs that promote inclusive and sustainable development.

Dr. Talandron-Felipe is an active member of the international academic community, serving as a reviewer, mentor, session chair, and conference organizer. She has contributed to the activities of the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE) and the International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE), supporting research excellence and academic collaboration across the region.

As a judge for the QS Reimagine Education Awards, she brings extensive experience in evaluating innovation, educational impact, scalability, and the responsible application of technology to transform teaching, learning, and societal outcomes.
