Mehrdad (Mo) Mohasses brings over 30 years of diverse leadership experience in higher education across Canada and the UAE. He currently serves as the Director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning, where he leads initiatives to enhance instructional excellence and faculty development. Previously, Mo held the position of Acting Dean at the Amity School of Business and spent two decades with the Higher Colleges of Technology in various senior roles, including Head of Academic Operations, Associate Dean of Quality Assurance, and Chair of Information Technology and Business. His professional background in Canada includes academic and administrative roles at the Toronto Board of Education, George Brown College, and DeVry University. Mo holds a Master of Education in Training and Development from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia), an MBA, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor (Canada). He is currently completing his Ph.D., with a research focus on developing a competency framework to better prepare higher education graduates for the demands of Industry 4.0.
