Dr Melina Doargajudhur is a scholar in project management, digital transformation, and management education at the Business School, Edinburgh Napier University. Her work adopts a multidisciplinary approach, integrating research-informed teaching, experiential learning, and industry engagement to enhance student learning, employability, and professional practice. Her research spans digital transformation, AI integration, and the future of work, alongside pedagogical innovation in project management and management education.

She is Programme Leader for the MBA Strategic Project Management programme at Edinburgh Napier University, where she leads curriculum development, programme enhancement, professional accreditation, and contributes to international partnership. She previously served as Programme Leader for the MBA Engineering Management programme and is Module Leader for several postgraduate modules, including Principles and Practice of Project Management, Strategic Project Risk Management, and Project and Change Management.

In addition to her programme leadership and teaching responsibilities, Melina contributes actively to academic leadership within the Business School. She serves as Deputy Research Lead for the Management subject group and is an independent member of the School Research and Innovation Committee (SRIC). She also contributes to institutional governance through her roles on the School Ethics Committee and the Accreditation Committee.

Melina holds a PhD in Information Systems, a Master’s degree in International Business from Curtin University, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of South Africa. She is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE (SFHEA) in recognition of her leadership in teaching and learning in higher education.

Her research has been published in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals including Information Technology & People, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Gender, Work & Organization, International Journal of Managing Projects in Business and Management Decision, alongside pedagogic outputs including SAGE teaching cases and research datasets supporting management education.

Prior to joining Edinburgh Napier University, Melina served as Senior Lecturer at Curtin Mauritius, where she led, taught and contributed to programme development over an extended period following her appointment in 2004.

Melina is committed to enhancing the student learning experience and has been recognised for her teaching excellence. She was awarded Best Lecturer (Business School) at the ENSA Student Nominated Excellence Awards (2025), and was also nominated for Best Lecturer and Innovative Assessment and Feedback (2024), alongside receiving multiple commendations for teaching excellence during her tenure at Curtin Mauritius.
