Prof. Dr. Mohamed Essam Khedr is a professor and academic leader with extensive experience in higher education, quality assurance, and academic development. He currently serves in senior leadership roles at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AAST), with expertise spanning academic affairs, student affairs, admissions, and curriculum development.

He holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada, and has a strong research and teaching background in mobile and wireless communications, artificial intelligence in communication networks, and AI applications in higher education. Prof. Khedr is also an IEEE Senior Member and has contributed to numerous research projects, consultations, and international academic initiatives.

Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in accreditation, quality enhancement, educational innovation, and interdisciplinary program development. His expertise and leadership make him a valuable contributor and evaluator in international academic and ranking initiatives, including QS judging and assessment activities.
