Dr. Mohd Faeiz Pauzi is an Anaesthesiologist and Pain Medicine Specialist at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA). He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak and later completed his Master of Medicine (MMed) in Anaesthesiology at Universiti Sains Malaysia. His pursuit of excellence in pain medicine led him to receive an International Fellowship in Pain Medicine from Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Interventional Pain Medicine from the University of Montpellier, France.

In recognition of his scholarly achievements, Dr. Faeiz was awarded the WFSA (World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists) Scholarship to attend the World Congress of Anaesthesiologists, the ASEAPS (Association of Southeast Asian Pain Societies) Young Scholar Award in 2019, and the T. Sachithanandan Best Oral Award at ASMIC (Annual Scientific Meeting on Intensive Care) in 2018. His dedication to academic excellence has also earned him the Academic University Award (Teaching) in 2022 and the Excellence Service Award in 2020 from UniSZA. He was also a recipient of the prestigious Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) from Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education for the 2019–2022.
