
Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Idzwan Mohd Salleh is Deputy Dean (Academic Affairs) at the Faculty of Information Science, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Computer Sciences (Health Informatics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia and specialises in information systems evaluation, health informatics, digital records management, and sustainable records management.
With extensive experience in academic leadership, quality assurance, policy development, teaching innovation, and digital education, he previously served as Head of Academic Policy & Information Management and as a co-opted member of the UiTM Senate. He is currently a Panel of Assessor in Information Management with the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and an Accreditation Panel member in the ICT field with the Technology and Technical Accreditation Council (TTAC), Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).
Dr. Mohd Idzwan has contributed to national-level initiatives in digital education and higher education research and has been involved in developing university-wide policies on teaching effectiveness, lecturer professionalism, and holistic teaching assessment. His work in educational and management innovation has received multiple national and international recognitions, including Platinum, Gold and Silver awards.
An experienced innovation evaluator, he has served as a judge for numerous national and international innovation competitions, including the QS Reimagine Education Awards & Conference 2024. His multidisciplinary expertise enables him to evaluate educational innovations through the lenses of impact, scalability, evidence, learner experience, sustainability, and quality assurance.
