Dr. Mohd Noor Ismawi Ismail is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Hotel Management at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. Since May 2024, he has served as the Head of E-learning at the Institute of Continuing Education and Professional Studies (ICEPS), where he oversees the strategic development of MOOCs, Micro-credentials, Self-Instructional Materials, and the university's Learning Management Platforms. 

Dr. Ismawi holds a PhD in Hotel and Tourism Management from UiTM. His academic journey began at the same institution, where he earned both a Diploma (2004) and a BSc (Hons) in Hotel Management (2006), receiving the prestigious Vice Chancellor’s Award. Supported by the Young Lecturer Scheme Scholarship, he later earned an MSc in International Hotel Management with Distinction from the University of Surrey, UK, in 2009. 

As an academician, Dr. Ismawi has published extensively in academic journals and chapters in books. His expertise spans hospitality technology, hotel operations, consumer behaviour, and service marketing. 

Beyond academia, he is a Certified Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA), recognised by the American Hotel & Lodging Association since January 2018, and frequently provides consultancy services to both the government and private sectors. He currently serves as the President of the Tourism Educators Association of Malaysia (TEAM) for the 2025–2027 term.
