
Director of the Civil Engineering Program and a Professor at Universidad Continental, Peru. As a RENACYT Level V researcher, she has authored more than 35 Scopus-indexed publications on disaster management and engineering innovation. She is a distinguished member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD–UNESCO). Her background includes serving as an earthquake and tsunami researcher for the Hydrography and Navigation Directorate of the Peruvian Navy. She holds a Master’s degree in Disaster Management from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Japan, where she was honored with the Best Research Award 2017, as well as professional degrees in Physics and Civil Engineering. Additionally, she was awarded gold and silver medals at the KIWIE 2024 and 2025 competitions held virtually in South Korea.
