
Dr. Nina Huntemann is a consultant and startup advisor supporting a global portfolio of edtech, higher education, and K-12 organizations. She has twenty-five years of experience in education and educational technology, holding executive leadership roles at Chegg and edX. As Chief Academic Officer at Chegg, she led the company’s learning function during its transition to AI-enabled products—building the product teams, design processes, and measurement frameworks to evaluate whether new tools actually improve student outcomes. As Vice President of Learning at edX, she established academic policy and quality rubrics for over 3,300 courses serving 40 million learners across 160 university, corporate and nonprofit content partners. Before moving to industry, Dr. Huntemann spent fifteen years as a college professor where she led initiatives to modernize undergraduate curricula and evaluate new teaching and learning technologies. She is a founding member of Women Applying AI, a community for women building expertise in AI.
