Nurul Nazira is from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and has served as an English language educator and PhD researcher for over 15 years, helping ESL learners build their confidence in speaking. She implemented a few projects, including Teacher Nuna & VLG [AI]: Vloggers Companion Generative AI, which aims to support students in rural and underserved areas by guiding them through the process of creating impactful English vlogs using AI assistance. She believes that digital tools should empower learners to be able to explore more knowledge on their own and not replace them. Thus, the anthem, “I’m here to learn, collaborate, and push forward inclusive, AI-powered language education for all."
