Dr. Omar Abdulghafoor is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Department at the American University of Kurdistan. His academic and professional interests include telecommunications, electronics, artificial intelligence, and engineering education. He is an ABET Program Evaluator and a Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) Peer Evaluator. He is actively involved in academic program assessment, continuous quality improvement, and accreditation.
