Recipient of the Arturo Montagú Award (2013), Senior Member Award (ACM 2015), Peer Review Award (Publons 2017), Tourism Leaders of Meetings Award (PROMPERU Peru 2019), and FAB16 Research Best Paper Award (Fab Foundation 2021). He has published more than 50 research papers on the impact of computational design, digital fabrication, and emergent technologies on architecture and design in Latin America. He received the Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching (UPC 2007, 2014, 2016), and the Talento Plata Award in 2022, 2023, and 2024, awarded to the top 10% of faculty members with the highest scores in their evaluation.
