She holds a PhD in Administrative Sciences from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and earned master’s degrees in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and from Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola. She also holds a Master’s degree in Education Administration from the Universidad de Lima, the institution that granted her the title of Economist. In addition, she has been a scholarship recipient of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies (DIES) to pursue the International Deans’ Course Latin America (2015–2016), as well as of the United States Department of State – Phelps Stokes Fund (2000). In December 2025, she was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to higher education and university leadership.
Over nearly 40 years of academic and administrative service at the Universidad de Lima, she has served as Vice-Rector, Dean of the School of Business and Economics, Director of the International Business Program, Head of the Entrepreneurship Office, and researcher at the Institute of Scientific Research. Her leadership has extended internationally through roles such as Member of the Executive Committee of the La Rábida Group of Ibero-American Universities, Board Member of Universia Perú, and Chair of the Latin America and Caribbean Chapter of PRME, a United Nations initiative. She has also served on advisory councils and committees on innovation, education, and corporate social responsibility for organizations such as AACSB, AMCHAM, and the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
She is an academic leader committed to innovation, sustainability, and educational excellence. In February 2026, she participated as a keynote speaker at the Second Conference on Applied Research in Humanities and Social Sciences, organized by the University of Sharjah (UAE). She is the author of the book Pymes Verdes and has contributed chapters to international publications on higher education and responsible management.
