
Dr.
Pooja Gupta is an Associate Professor at the School of Liberal Arts and Social
Sciences, IILM University, India. She has an interdisciplinary academic
background in Science and English Literature with over 16 years of teaching,
research, curriculum development, academic administration, and faculty
development experience. Her areas of specialization include English Language
Teaching (ELT), Communication Skills, Literature, Higher Education, Life
Skills, Innovative Teaching-Learning Pedagogy using AI and Technology,
Translation Studies, Indian Knowledge Systems, Consciousness Studies, Vedanta
Philosophy, and Professional Writing. She has worked at reputed institutions
including UPES and the Indian Military Academy (IMA). Dr. Gupta has chaired 11
international conferences, delivered keynote and plenary talks, presented over
30 research papers at national and international conferences, organized 13
workshops and FDPs, published 23 research papers/chapters, and authored/edited
6 books through reputed international publishers. She has also demonstrated
leadership in designing learner-centric and outcome-based curricula integrating
communication, ethics, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, language
proficiency, and AI-enabled pedagogical innovations. Her recent work particularly
focuses on Consciousness Studies from a Vedanta perspective, AI in Higher
Education, Translation and Cultural Studies, Inclusive Education, and
interdisciplinary humanities research. Dr. Gupta was selected as a Special
Delegate and received the Impact Challenge Winner Award at the HPAIR
International Conference 2025 held at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA.
