I have been a design academician for past 27 years. I am currently working as a Professor & Head, Dept of Fashion Design & Interior Design at Manipal University Jaipur. My key Department of responsibilities are restructuring of the department, strategizing admission plans, curriculum design and delivery, corporate relationship management and social outreach. As an academic administrator I am well versed with documentation for regulatory bodies such as UGC, NIRF, NAAC etc.

I am in editorial board of Scopus indexed Q2 journal. Currently I am pursuing PhD and hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) from Nottingham Trent University U.K., MSc. Garment Production and Export Management from Rajasthan University, Diploma in Textile Design from Board of Technical Education, Jodhpur.

Over the years I have developed an expertise in teaching courses on Sustainable Fashion, Creative Textiles, Craft Study, Design Process, Design thinking, Fundamentals of Design, Fiber science, Textile Finishing, Dyeing, Printing, new departments and restructuring departments and streamlining operations for strategic growth.
