Dr. Rajab Jafarli is a higher education strategist, internationalization expert, and academic administrator serving as Advisor to the Rector for Strategic Development at Nakhchivan State University, Azerbaijan. He has over a decade of experience in higher education management, international relations, strategic planning, quality assurance, and institutional development.

He holds a PhD in German Languages from Nakhchivan State University and Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English Language Teaching. Throughout his career, he has played a leading role in strengthening international partnerships, advancing institutional modernization, and supporting the global engagement of universities.

Previously, Dr. Jafarli served as Head of the International Relations Department at Nakhchivan University, where he coordinated international cooperation initiatives and academic exchange programs. He has also worked as a university lecturer and educator.

Dr. Jafarli has coordinated several international projects, including six Erasmus+ Capacity Building projects: AESOP, EQAC, ECAR, ENGAGE, DIRNA, and LMQ-Santé. His professional expertise includes strategic management, quality assurance, internationalization, project management, sustainable development, and university governance.

He has represented his institutions in academic and professional activities across Europe and Asia, contributing to initiatives focused on quality assurance, institutional development, international cooperation, and sustainable higher education.

His research interests include higher education strategy, university internationalization, quality assurance, sustainable development, project-based learning, and institutional transformation. He is actively involved in developing international partnerships, dual-degree programs, and research collaborations that enhance the global competitiveness of higher education institutions.

Fluent in Azerbaijani, English, and Turkish, Dr. Jafarli is recognized for his leadership in academic diplomacy, strategic planning, and international networking.
