Dr. Rajesh Raut is an accomplished corporate trainer and finance professional with over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry engagement. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University and serves as Associate Professor of Finance and Head of multiple strategic initiatives at the MIT School of Distance Education (MITSDE), Pune.

At MITSDE, he leads the Centre for Strategic Business Excellence and the Centre for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, driving initiatives that bridge academia and industry through research, training, and innovation. As Chief Editor of Udyam – The Journal of Business Insights, he curates research and thought leadership in contemporary management.

Dr. Raut has published over 23 Scopus-indexed papers in reputed journals and presented at national and international conferences, with research interests spanning financial markets, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and higher education innovation. He has also filed patents in sustainable rural development and financial awareness.

Beyond academia, he mentors start-ups and corporates as a strategic consultant, delivering workshops on Career planning, financial wellness, investment planning, and business growth. A passionate educator and researcher, Dr. Raut is committed to fostering financial literacy, sustainable development, and global collaboration in business education.
