Dr. Rajneesh Talwar is presently working as DEAN, DICE (Department of Interdisciplinary courses in Engineering at Chitkara University) and Head CSE Examination. Key responsibility includes
A) Administration
and handing Faculty taking up Subjects in four shifts

Software and Hardware Projects Implementation, Conducting Hackathons, ensuring
University students participation in Hackathons, Competitions, etc
C)Smooth
conduct of CSE Sessional(s):[Offline and Online for more than 10000 students],
Worked as Director/Principal, Chandigarh
Engineering College, Jhanjeri Mohali for 9 years till Aug 2022. Admissions increased from 1000 to
5000 during the tenure. Got AICTE/University inspections through for 9 years without
any issues.
More than 24 Years of Professional Experience of Teaching,
Research and Administration.
Did his PhD. in 2010
and M.Tech in 2002 from THAPAR UNIVERSITY, Patiala, Punjab, India.
More than 20 patents
filed till date and the first one was a U.S Patent
Granted “FIBER OPTIC POINT TEMPERATURE SENSOR”
to his credit filed in 2005,
10 out of those are published.

than SIXTY international Journal Publications. Presented papers /participated in more than ten International conferences
and many national level conference participations.
Has been Delivering
Expert talks on Wireless Communication, IOT, Communication Systems etc at various national level
FDP’s and Invited Talks. Has been guest of Honor at STTP. Chaired

Journal of Engg. Science and Technology, Nigeria, was Reviewer of MAEJO International Journal of Engineering Science and Technology, Thailand and is reviewer of
“Materials and Design”, a ELSEVIER International Journal.
Ten Candidates have
Successfully completed Phd. under him. Two more Candidates are pursuing Phd.
Guided 11 M.Tech. thesis.

ECE Department at Chitkara Institute of Engineering, Rajpura, Punjab
India. Has been an active member in organizing national level seminars,
workshops, conferences at
various institutes he has worked.

Guided various Projects which have won at National
Level such as HACKATHON 2017, where
the team got THREE LAKH, FIFTY THOUSAND
from Govt. of India and handed over
the project to Govt. Three projects under his mentorship in 2023,2024,2026
have got NewGen IEDC funding of 2Lakh,1.5Lakh,1.5 Lakh Funding respectively.
Recently
in 2025, as Principal investigator he has got a grant of 6.5 Lakh from IIT
Ropar for Agri based solution.
He was President of Institute Innovation Council of CEC Jhanjeri, ensuring regular sessions on
Innovation, entrepreneurship and Startups. Got
3.5 star out of four for 2020-22.
Presently also he is active member of IIC, Chitkara University.
Has been the Judge and into core organizing committee of India
International Science festival held
in 2020, 2021,2022,2023, 2024,2025.
Every year on 15th September
more than 20 technical events are organized
under his Guidance
and Mentorship on Engineer’s
day where students from all over India participate.
Was BOG Member of ASHRE Chandigarh Chapter. A professional
body for HVAC industry.
Was Member
of BOS of IKGPTU, Member of CDC IKGPTU and also approved PhD. Guide of IKGPTU.
Organized International Conference on “Latest Trends in Engineering and Technology” on 15th
July 2022.

Punjab-Promoting Science and Technology in Punjab.
