Dr. Rakesh Ganguly is Deputy Director, Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and Nodal Officer for the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. With extensive experience spanning higher education leadership, institutional strategy, research excellence, and global engagement, he plays a pivotal role in advancing quality assurance, accreditation, rankings, and international partnerships at one of India’s emerging research-led institutions.

Dr. Ganguly has been instrumental in aligning institutional priorities with national and global frameworks, including NAAC, IoE mandates, NEP 2020, QS, and Times Higher Education rankings. Under his strategic coordination, the institution has consistently remained among the Top 100 in the NIRF rankings and has strengthened its presence in QS WUR, QS Asia and THE World and Impact Rankings. His work focuses on leveraging data-driven institutional planning, sustainability, and global collaboration to enhance academic excellence and research visibility.

An accomplished academic and researcher in chemistry and crystallography, Dr. Ganguly has authored more than 250 Scopus-indexed publications, with ~8,000 citations and an h-index of 46. He has previously held research and scientific positions at Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore, contributing extensively to crystallographic and analytical research infrastructure.

Dr. Ganguly is also actively engaged in advancing global academic partnerships across ASEAN and Middle Eastern regions, fostering collaborative research, internationalization initiatives, and cross-border institutional networks. He is a frequent keynote and invited speaker on topics related to higher education strategy, sustainability, institutional rankings, and scientific research.
