Rania M Rafik Khalil (Rania Khalil) is Acting Vice Dean for Teaching and Learning for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and founding Director of the Research Centre for Irish Studies (RCIS) at the British University in Egypt. She also teaches in the Department of English Language and Literature both on the undergraduate programme and postgraduate studies. Currently she serves as the Vice Chairperson for Africa on the International Association for the Study of Irish Literatures IASIL and is the co-editor of the special collection of The Possibilities of the Medical Humanities.
