
Ravshan (Istiqlol) Khujakulov is a professor of linguistics in the English Language Theory Department at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Uzbekistan, where he previously served as a school deputy head. He holds an MA in TESOL from Webster University. He is currently a PhD candidate conducting a derivational study of lexical terms related to folk medicine in Uzbek and English. He also serves as a volunteer admissions adviser at Webster University. A multilingual educator fluent in Uzbek and English (C1) with working knowledge of Russian, he brings a cross-cultural, systems-level perspective to language education and institutional development. He is passionate about educational technology, sustainability-oriented pedagogy, and expanding access to quality English-language education across Central Asia.
