I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language Theory at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Uzbekistan, where he lectures, conducts research, and advises students on topics related to applied linguistics and English language instruction. He received his MA in TESOL from Webster University and possesses over a decade’s worth of experience working in all areas of English language education, including EAP and ESP instruction, administrative work, and acting as a School Deputy Head prior to becoming a professor.

Among his academic interests are TESOL methodology, digitalization of EFL instruction, early childhood education with an emphasis on inclusivity, and critical policy analysis in higher education, especially as it relates to applying principles of applied linguistics toward institutional reforms in Central Asia. Ravshan is actively engaged in research and grant writing and is now pursuing international research-practice collaboration initiatives. As part of his work, he leads a student research program in his department that focuses on preparing the next generation of scholars in language education.

A native speaker of English and Uzbek, Ravshan is devoted to improving the quality and innovating the processes of education and intercultural dialogue.
