Dr Reham Ateya Nasr is an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and Acting Head of the Department of Basic and Applied Psychology at The British University in Egypt. She is a Fellow of Advance HE (UK) and an Associate Editor at Cogent Education – Teacher Education and Development, published by Taylor & Francis.

With more than 15 years of experience in higher education, psychological research, training, and counselling, Dr Reham is committed to transforming education through evidence-based innovation. Her research spans educational psychology, student engagement, gamified assessment, twenty-first-century competencies, psychological resilience, mindfulness, and workplace well-being.

She has led innovative educational initiatives that integrate gamification, performance-based assessment, experiential learning, and authentic real-world challenges to strengthen students’ motivation, creativity, engagement, and professional competencies. Her work also extends to curriculum development, academic leadership, quality enhancement, and community engagement.

Dr Reham is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and scalable learning experiences that bridge psychological science and educational practice, empowering students to become confident, adaptable, and future-ready learners.
