Prof. Dr. Safaa Abdulwahab Ismaeel is a Professor of Sports Biomechanics at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Diyala, Iraq. He holds a Ph.D. in Sports Biomechanics and has extensive academic and research experience in biomechanics, neuromuscular performance analysis, artificial intelligence applications in sports science, and movement analysis.

Prof. Dr. Ismaeel has participated in numerous international scientific conferences and workshops and has published research in internationally indexed journals, including Scopus and Web of Science databases. His research interests focus on biomechanical modeling, electromyography (EMG), muscle mechanical properties, artificial intelligence in movement analysis, rehabilitation sciences, and predictive performance modeling.

He has supervised several postgraduate students at both the master's and doctoral levels and actively contributes to the academic community as a scientific reviewer and editorial collaborator for international journals in sports science and biomechanics. In addition, he has been involved in various scientific and institutional initiatives related to research development, digital transformation, and advanced analytical technologies in higher education and sports sciences.
