Prof. (Dr.) Safia Farooqui is currently serving as the Director, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth Centre for Online Learning, Pune. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Symbiosis International University, an LL.M. from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and an MBA specializing in Human Resource Management with a Minor in Information Technology. She has further enriched her academic portfolio with a Diploma in Japanese Management (JMAM) in Gemba Kaizen, along with LL.B., M.A. (English), and B.A. (Hons.) in English from Banaras Hindu University. She has qualified NET and SET in Management.

Dr. Farooqui is a Certified Professional in Kaizen, Certified Analyst of 5S and Six Sigma, Certified TQM Trainer, and a Certified Digital Analyst, demonstrating her interdisciplinary expertise in management excellence, quality systems, and digital transformation.

A distinguished academician, author, and researcher, she has authored 25 books in the field of Management, holds multiple patents and copyrights, and has published over 105 research papers in reputed national and international journals.
