Dr. Salam Maaiah holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction and is a MEPLI Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). She brings over 25 years of experience in the education sector spanning teaching, teacher education, teacher training, school inspection, early education evaluation, and education reform initiatives. Dr. Maaiah served as the Lead of the Pre-service Teacher Education Diploma and has worked closely with ministries of education, international organizations, and schools on curriculum development, quality assurance, early childhood education, and professional development. She has contributed to a range of national and regional education initiatives focused on improving teaching quality and educational outcomes. Her expertise in evaluating educational practices and innovation supports fair, informed, and contextually grounded judgment and decision-making.
