
Prof. Satyadhyan Chickerur is a Professor of Computer
Science and Engineering and Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence
Research (CAIR) at KLE Technological University. He is a researcher, trainer,
mentor and consultant with extensive experience in Artificial Intelligence,
High-Performance Computing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Image Processing
and AI-enabled applications.
He is an NVIDIA DLI Certified Instructor/Ambassador
and has contributed to several national and international academic and
technology initiatives. He has served as a member of the Intel–IISc–VTU
Multi-core Curriculum Development Committee and as a trainer for Intel on
Multi-core Programming. He was also an Executive Committee Member of the IEEE
Signal Processing Society, Bangalore Chapter (2007–2009) and has served as
a judge and problem setter for the Asia Regionals ACM ICPC Programming
Contest.
His current research and academic interests include Artificial
Intelligence for Healthcare, Computational Medicine, Medical Image Analysis,
Generative AI, Industrial AI, High-Performance and Accelerated Computing, and
AI-driven technology development. He has been involved in mentoring
students and researchers, technology-oriented projects, hackathons, faculty
development programmes and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Prof. Chickerur has delivered invited talks and expert
sessions at various institutions and has received research support and grants
from industry and other organizations.
