
Dr. Skender Brucaj is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Technology and Innovation at Western Balkans
University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boğaziçi University, an MBA from Epoka University,
and a PhD in Management from the European University of Tirana. His teaching and research interests include
business ethics, organizational and managerial behavior, entrepreneurship and innovation, leadership studies,
AI ethics, and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence in higher education. His academic work is
particularly connected to quality management in education, pedagogical innovation, digital transformation,
institutional learning, and responsible governance, with AI ethics and the integration of AI in education
emerging as a new developing research area. Dr. Brucaj was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Georgetown
University and an International Fellow at the KAICIID International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural
Dialogue in Lisbon. He has over a decade of experience in civil society engagement, educational management,
intercultural dialogue, and institutional development. From 2014 to 2019, he served as Chairman of the
Albanian Muslim Community, leading national initiatives to counter violent extremism, advance religious
freedom, foster active citizenship, and promote the role of faith-based actors in climate action and
environmental sustainability.
He is fluent in English, Turkish, and Italian
