 Ts. Dr. TamilSalvi Mari is an Associate Professor and the Programme Director for the Master of Science in Virtual Design Construction (MVDC) at Taylor’s University, Malaysia. With more than 25 years of experience in higher education, her administrative and pedagogical leadership includes past roles as Associate Dean. Salvi holds a Doctor of Education focused on service-learning models and has managed substantial funding (over RM 1.1M) aimed at sustainability and pedagogical innovation.



Her distinct authority to judge global innovations is backed by her direct connection to the QS network, having been recognized as a double finalist at the QS Reimagine Education Awards for her high-impact projects: Harvesting the Value of Water and Purpose to Practice.


Salvi’s  multifaceted research portfolio spans environmental sustainability and human-centric design well-being. As part of her advanced research methodology, she investigates human responses to the built environment by integrating latest digital technologies, leveraging Virtual Reality (VR) environments and EEG (electroencephalography) biometric data alongside Building Information Modelling (BIM) and predictive simulations. She holds a portfolio of multiple national and international innovation awards (including consecutive eCONDEV Gold medals), positioning her to evaluate global entries with a keen eye for cutting-edge methodologies, scalability, and real-world impact.
