Pham Thanh Hao is Vice-President of the University Council and Chief of Staff at VinUniversity in Vietnam. Having joined the university during its formative years, she has played a key role in shaping its strategy, governance and organisational development, helping to build the institutional foundations for VinUniversity’s aspiration to become a globally recognised, research-intensive university. Ms Hao leads the Transformation Management Office and oversees key university functions spanning governance, strategy, operations, finance, talent, technology, marketing, legal affairs and compliance. Her work focuses on strengthening university governance, developing leadership capacity and harnessing artificial intelligence to advance institutional excellence, develop future leaders and create lasting societal impact.
