Prof Tripti Waghmare, MBBS, MD, MPhil, PhD, FAIMER, AFMAEE is an accomplished Medical Educator, Academic administrator, Researcher and Quality Assurance leader in HPE. She currently serves as Executive Director, Quality Assurance (Academic Excellence) at DMIHER (DU), India. She has been serving as Assessor, NAAC, the only HEI accrediting body in the country, for past 8 years. She has 21 years of experience in contributing toward quality frameworks of Graduate and Post graduate Medical education, by serving as member/convenor National Medical Commission. She has been part of various International organisations in Medical education like AMEE and ASME. Prof Waghmare has made significant contribution in competency based medical education, faculty development, educational research, Quality assurance and outcome based education. Presently she serves as advisory board member of 'The Clinical Teacher' journal and member of editorial board of two International journals. She is also honorary member of Academic committee, Internal Quality Assurance cell and Board of studies of four Medical organisations of the country.
